Yesterday I completed my first race in 10 months. Yesterday I completed my first race in 10 months. It has been a long and complicated journey back to competitive running. I could not have asked for a better way to return to the sport I love; I ran one of my best races on home soil in front of a danish crowd, I ran fearlessly, focusing on moving forward and not worrying about pain and I was able to deliver a respectable performance for the team and those who believe in me - even through tough times. I’ve heard having one eye on the goal leaves me with only one eye to find my way to get there. I’ll get myself a 🪖 then and trust the 🧭.
